Two things decide the model, and speed is only the second one.

What you pack comes first. Blisters, bottles and sachets each need a different feeder at the infeed. In the 120 series that is three separate machines. Above 120 the machines are more general, except the 260P, which is built for bottles.

Carton size is almost the same across the range. Every model takes a carton 70 to 180 mm long. Only the width narrows slightly above 180 cartons a minute, from 85 to 80 mm. So you do not lose carton flexibility by buying speed.

Industry Applications

The WZH-320 is specifically designed for mega-factories requiring non-stop, maximum daily throughput:

Mega Pharmaceutical Lines

Ideal for matching with ultra-high-speed flat-plate or rotary blister packaging machines (such as the DPH series), pre-filled syringes, ampoules, and vials.

Nutraceutical Mega-Factories

Perfectly automates the massive cartoning of multi-count health supplement sachets, protein pouches, and vitamin bottles.

High-Volume Consumer Goods

Efficiently packages high-turnover personal care products, toothpaste tubes, and premium cosmetics requiring flawless, scratch-free retail presentation.

Changeover

Throughput sells machines. Changeover decides what you actually produce in a week.

What to check before you buy

01

The five questions any supplier should ask you

What goes in the carton and how many. Carton dimensions and closing style. Leaflet format and whether it arrives folded. What feeds the machine upstream. Target speed. If a supplier quotes you without these, the machine that arrives will not fit the line it was bought for.

02

Carton sizing — where most projects go wrong

Manually packed cartons are usually a snug fit around the product. An automated pusher needs clearance. Send us both your product and carton dimensions. We will tell you before you order whether your existing carton runs, or needs modifying — rather than after it has been printed in quantity.

03

The documentation

Operating and maintenance manuals in English, electrical schematics, a spare parts list with part numbers and prices, and a signed FAT report before the machine ships. Ask any supplier to show you a sample manual page before you order.

WZH-320 Cartoning Machine FAQ

How does the WZH-320 maintain absolute stability and zero structural failure at 320 cartons per minute?

At this extreme speed, traditional vertical or linear suction systems cannot overcome air resistance and cardboard stiffness. The WZH-320 overcomes this challenge by deploying an advanced 4-station rotary star-wheel outward opening system paired with an active twice-pre-forming device. This continuous rotary action forces the carton scores to break and shapes the box perfectly square while in fluid motion, completely eliminating structural failures or crushed cartons.

What mechanism ensures that leaflets are inserted accurately without jamming at such high cycle rates?

The automatic leaflet folding and feeding unit is mechanically linked and electronically synchronized with the main conveyor drive. It utilizes high-speed “holding finger” clamping technology. As the posterior tracking pusher moves forward, the leaflet and the product are locked together and guided into the carton concurrently during parallel motion, ensuring zero displacement or folding damage even at 320 cycles per minute.

Can the WZH-320 handle multi-blister stacking configurations inside a single carton?

Yes, absolutely. The machine is equipped with an intelligent, highly adaptable feeding magazine. The electronic counting parameters and product collection cycles can be adjusted and set randomly via the HMI touch screen, enabling the system to smoothly stack and insert multi-count blisters (e.g., 2, 3, or 4 plates per box) into the moving cartons without dropping speed.

How does the "No Product - No Carton" logic operate to eliminate material waste on an ultra-high-speed line?

Missing a single item at 320 bpm can cause immediate downstream line jams. The WZH-320 utilizes a continuous optical tracking loop. If the upstream sensor detects an empty station in the feed conveyor (missing blister, bottle, or sachet), the PLC commands the vacuum valve to bypass that specific cycle. The machine will not draw a carton or feed a leaflet for that cycle, saving packaging materials and preventing empty boxes from entering your final shipper cases.

What safety systems protect the high-rigidity chassis if an unexpected jam occurs?

The machine features a multi-layered automatic mechanical and electronic overload protection shutdown framework. High-sensitivity torque sensors monitor the main drive, tracking pushers, and carton chains. If any abnormal resistance or collision is detected, the system cuts power to the drive within milliseconds, triggers an audio-visual alarm, and pinpoints the exact trouble location on the HMI to secure your capital investment.

How long does a full format changeover take on the WZH-320 platform?

Despite being a massive 2500 kg industrial platform, it features a highly streamlined design focused on operational convenience. All primary 3D adjustments are equipped with mechanical hand-wheels, digital scale indicators, and quick-release locking levers. A trained operator can execute a complete format swap (length, width, and height adjustments) efficiently in 20 to 30 minutes without requiring complex specialized tools.

Is the PLC system compatible with smart factory data tracking and MES integration?

Yes. The WZH-320 is fully ready for modern pharmaceutical infrastructure. The integrated industrial PLC system supports seamless data communication protocols for MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and SCADA networks. It tracks real-time batch counts, rejection rates, downtime reasons, and total OEE analytics, providing the transparency needed to comply with strict global data tracking audits and global GMP management standards.
