APC-C120 Desiccant Inserter

The APC-C120 drops a desiccant into each bottle after counting and before capping. It runs 50 to 120 bottles a minute on one discharge outlet. If your product needs moisture control and someone is dropping desiccants in by hand, this is the station that replaces them.

  • Output— 50 to 120 bottles per minute
  • One insert per bottle— bottle sensing means no bottle, no dispense
  • Matched to your counter— keeps up with 16 and 24-channel counting machines

Bottle sensing

The machine dispenses when a bottle is under the head. No bottle, no dispense. A gap in the bottle stream costs you nothing — no desiccant on the conveyor, and no one clearing it off before the next bottle passes.

One outlet, matched to your line

One discharge outlet places one desiccant per bottle. That covers 50 to 120 bottles a minute. Outlet count is set when the machine is built. It cannot be added later.

Indexed to the conveyor

The insertion cycle follows conveyor motion, not its own timer. When the counter pauses, this station pauses with it.

Ideal Applications & Industries

Probiotic capsules

Viability is measured against a moisture spec. The desiccant is part of how your product holds its count to the end of shelf life.

Gummy vitamins

Gummies pick up moisture and stick together. A desiccant slows that down inside a closed jar.

Fish oil and softgel products

Softgel shells soften as they take up water. Moisture control keeps them separate in the bottle.

FAQ

How much does an induction sealer cost?

It depends on your desiccant format and your line speed. Send us a sample and your bottles per minute. We don’t publish a list price because configuration changes it.

How long is the lead time?

About 1-3 months from order. We confirm the date in writing with your order.

Do you supply the desiccants?

No. Your desiccant supplier does. We build the machine around the format you already use.

What happens if a bottle misses its desiccant?

If a desiccant is missed, the product inside becomes vulnerable to moisture, which can lead to powder clumping, mold growth, or the degradation of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs). This significantly reduces the product’s shelf life and can result in costly product recalls.

To prevent this, our Desiccant Inserters can be equipped with an advanced Missing Desiccant Detection System. If a bottle passes without a desiccant, the machine instantly triggers an alarm or automatically rejects the faulty bottle from the line, ensuring 100% packaging integrity.

Does it run on US power?

Yes, it can be customizable.

How fast does this station need to be?

Fast enough to keep up with your counter. Nothing more. The counter sets your line speed. Every station after it follows.

Are your machines electrically certified for the US?

Yes. Our machines are certified and use certified electrical components. Because the exact scope depends on the model and electrical configuration you select, our factory confirms it in writing before production.

Send us your desiccant and your bottle.

Desiccant size decides the feeding setup. Bottle neck decides whether it drops cleanly. No two suppliers make quite the same desiccant, so a sample tells us more than a spec sheet.
