WZH-120-III Blister Cartoning Machine

Someone on your line is counting blister plates and folding leaflets by hand. The WZH-120-III does both at up to 120 cartons a minute. You set the number of plates per carton on the screen — no tooling change to go from two plates to three.

1.Speed — 30 to 120 cartons per minute

2.Plates per carton — set on the touchscreen, not by changing parts

3.Power — 220V single-phase, 1.5 kW

Is this the right machine for you?

✓ Yes, if…

✕ Buy something else if…

Set the plate count on screen

Two blister plates today, three next month. You change the number on the touchscreen rather than swapping feeder parts. On a line running several SKUs, that is the difference between a five-minute change and a twenty-minute one.

Leaflet folding, 1 to 4 folds

The folder takes an unfolded leaflet up to 250 × 180 mm and folds it once, twice, three or four times. It feeds into the carton with the product in the same push.

It rejects, it doesn't just alarm

A carton missing its blister or its leaflet is removed from the line automatically. The screen shows what happened and where.

220V single-phase

This machine and the WZH-120P are the only cartoners in our range that run on single-phase supply. If your packing area has no three-phase, that decides your options before anything else does.

Two things decide the model, and speed is only the second one.

What you pack comes first. Blisters, bottles and sachets each need a different feeder at the infeed. In the 120 series that is three separate machines. Above 120 the machines are more general, except the 260P, which is built for bottles.

Carton size is almost the same across the range. Every model takes a carton 70 to 180 mm long. Only the width narrows slightly above 180 cartons a minute, from 85 to 80 mm. So you do not lose carton flexibility by buying speed.

Industry Applications

The WZH-120 III is engineered to provide professional secondary packaging across multiple sectors:

Supplement blisters

Two or three plates per carton with a leaflet. The most common job this machine does.

ALU-ALU packs for moisture-sensitive products

Both ALU-PVC and ALU-ALU run on the same feeder.

Multi-SKU plants

Plate count changes on screen, so switching between a 2-plate and a 3-plate SKU does not mean a tooling change.

Changeover

Throughput sells machines. Changeover decides what you actually produce in a week.

Length and width are a handwheel. Height means changing the pusher. A different product means a different feeder. A different closing style means a different machine.

What to check before you buy

01

The five questions any supplier should ask you

What goes in the carton and how many. Carton dimensions and closing style. Leaflet format and whether it arrives folded. What feeds the machine upstream. Target speed. If a supplier quotes you without these, the machine that arrives will not fit the line it was bought for.

02

Carton sizing — where most projects go wrong

Manually packed cartons are usually a snug fit around the product. An automated pusher needs clearance. Send us both your product and carton dimensions. We will tell you before you order whether your existing carton runs, or needs modifying — rather than after it has been printed in quantity.

03

The documentation

Operating and maintenance manuals in English, electrical schematics, a spare parts list with part numbers and prices, and a signed FAT report before the machine ships. Ask any supplier to show you a sample manual page before you order.

WZH-120 III Cartoning Machine FAQ

How many blister plates can go in one carton?

You set it on the touchscreen. Two, three, four — whatever your carton holds. No parts to change.

Can this machine pack bottles or sachets?

No. The feeder at the infeed is built for blister plates. Bottles go on the WZH-120P, sachets on the WZH-120D. Same carton range, different feeders.

Can it be built for hot-melt glue sealing?

Yes, when specified at the order stage. Glue sealing uses a different mechanical station from tuck-in, so the machine is built one way or the other. It is not something that can be added later without rebuilding the sealing section.

Does it run on US power?

Yes, it can be customizable.

How long is the lead time?

About 1-3 months from order. We confirm the date in writing with your order.
